Frequently asked questions

What does Applied Crew build?

We build production systems for specific business workflows. A system may read context from existing tools, prepare or take actions, request approval, and write the result back. The implementation may use AI agents, retrieval, deterministic automation, or conventional software. We use the simplest design that can meet the requirement.

How does an engagement begin?

How long does a deployment take?

Customers work directly with forward-deployed engineers, and we standardize the parts that repeat across deployments into software. Bring us one workflow: we will ask what triggers it, who owns it, how often it runs, which systems it touches, and what result matters. A narrow workflow can often reach controlled production in weeks, once access, data quality, review requirements, and risk are understood.

Common questions:

  • Do we need to replace our existing software? Usually not — we work around your systems of record.
  • Which AI models do you use? We are model-neutral and choose based on the job and your constraints.
  • How do you handle our data? Permissions, retention, logging, and approvals are agreed before access.
  • What happens after launch? We monitor, review corrections, update the workflow, and report on the measure.
  • How do you price? Scope is set after the workflow study. We do not price by seat.

Who owns the work?

Commercial terms make ownership explicit.

The terms state what the customer owns, what Applied Crew licenses, and which reusable components stay part of the Applied Crew deployment system. We share the current terms before an engagement begins rather than making a blanket promise here.
