Forward-deployed engineering

Engineers inside your team until the workflow runs itself. Our two founders and engineers embed with your team, wire BackContext into the tools you already use, ship your first model and hand over the runbooks. Pacific-time aligned, available 7am–9pm PT.

What’s included in this service?

Icon
Workflow mapping

We sit with the people doing the work and map each task: its inputs, its edge cases, and what a correct outcome looks like.

Icon
BackContext rollout

We wire BackContext into the tools your team already uses, usually in a day, so every task is recorded with its outcome.

Icon
First model in production

We train, benchmark and ship your first model behind a quality gate, typically four to six weeks from kickoff.

Icon
Runbooks and handover

Your team gets runbooks for retraining, evals and deployment, so the loop keeps running after we step back.

Why it matters

Why this service matters

Most AI projects stall between a promising demo and a workflow people rely on. We stay embedded until the model is in production and your team owns it. At Algebra IT, three workflows (intake, screening and submission) were mapped within five weeks of kickoff.

Who works on our engagement?

Our co-founders, Sai Veda Prakash Masetty and Sreeja Vallamulla, with Applied Crew engineers. The people who scope the work are the people who ship it.

What do the first six weeks look like?

Two weeks of recording with BackContext, two weeks of training and evals, then a staged rollout behind a quality gate.

What hours are you available?

We are Pacific-time aligned and available 7am–9pm PT, which overlaps the working day in every US time zone.

How do you get access to our systems?

Only to the tools in scope. BackContext releases keys per policy, every request shows tool, device and purpose, and every approval is written to the audit trail.

What do we keep when the engagement ends?

The model weights, the eval suite and the runbooks. New outcomes keep flowing into BackContext, so the next model version keeps getting better.
